By booking a cleaning (one-time or subscription), you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t schedule service.
2) Description of Services
We provide trash can cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing for standard household or commercial trash cans. Cleaning results can vary depending on can condition and what was inside.
3) Service Area
We service customers within our posted service area. If you’re outside it, we may decline service or charge a travel fee (we’ll tell you before booking).
4) Scheduling & Access Requirements
We schedule based on route availability. You agree to place trash cans where we can reach them safely (typically curbside or driveway edge) by the scheduled time and keep access clear (cars, snowbanks, gates, pets).
5) Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide safe access to the trash cans
- Keep the area reasonably clear of hazards (ice, sharp objects, animals)
- Use the service lawfully (no prohibited materials—see below)
6) Preparation of Trash Cans
Please empty trash cans before cleaning. If cans contain trash, liquids, or bagged waste, we may skip cleaning or charge an extra handling fee.
7) Missed or Skipped Cleanings
If we arrive and can’t service your trash cans due to access issues (not out, blocked, unsafe), that may count as a missed visit.
- One-time: we can reschedule (fees may apply).
- Subscription: the visit may be skipped and not refunded, depending on the reason.
8) Weather & Service Delays
For safety, service may be delayed due to snow, ice, extreme cold, storms, or unsafe road conditions. We’ll reschedule as soon as possible.
9) Pricing & Fees
Prices are shown at booking or on your plan. Additional charges may apply for:
- Extra trash cans
- Heavily soiled cans (paint, concrete, hazardous residue)
- Access issues requiring extra time
10) Payment Terms
- One-time: payment is due at booking or before service.
- Subscription: charges occur on the billing schedule shown during sign-up.
11) Cancellations, Pauses & Rescheduling
- One-time: cancel or reschedule by the cutoff time in your confirmation.
- Subscription: you may pause or cancel according to the instructions in the subscription section.
12) Subscription Plans & Recurring Services
Subscription services may automatically renew unless canceled. Pricing, billing frequency, and cancellation instructions are clearly disclosed at sign-up. You may cancel using the same method you used to enroll.
13) Satisfaction Guarantee
If you’re not satisfied, contact us within 24–48 hours and we’ll attempt to resolve the issue through a re-clean or credit, at our discretion.
14) Damage & Pre-Existing Conditions
We are not responsible for:
- Cracked, warped, brittle, or damaged trash cans
- Broken lids or wheels
- Damage caused by normal wear or your trash hauler
If a can appears unsafe to clean, we may refuse service.
15) Limitations of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service visit.
16) Health, Safety & Environmental Practices
We use professional equipment and cleaning solutions. Please keep children and pets away from the cleaning area.
17) Use of Water & Utilities
If you allow us to use an outdoor water source, you grant permission for reasonable use during service.
18) Photographs & Marketing Use
We may take before-and-after photos of trash cans for quality control or marketing. No identifying information will be shown. You may opt out at any time.
19) Termination of Services
We may refuse or discontinue service for safety concerns, repeated access issues, nonpayment, or prohibited materials.
20) Prohibited Materials
We do not clean trash cans contaminated with:
- Needles or medical waste
- Chemicals, paint, gasoline, or hazardous materials
- Dead animals or feces
If present, service will be skipped.
21) Indemnification
You agree to hold us harmless from claims or damages resulting from unsafe conditions or prohibited materials in your trash cans.
22) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine.
23) Buyer’s Right to Cancel (If Applicable)
If this service was sold as a home solicitation sale, you may have the right to cancel within three business days as provided by Maine law.
24) Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will be posted on our website.
